If I Should Die Remember This

If I Should Die Remember This

If I should die within the night;
Or in the sunlight of the day.
I'll be within the arms of Jesus;
Where grief and sorrow fade away.

There will not be a fear of hell;
There's just no doubt about it.
I am forever forgiven.
In joy, I'm goin' to shout it.

I do not claim to be perfect;
I've got a long way to go.
But when I enter heaven's gate:
Pure perfection I will know.

If I should die before I wake;
I have no fear my soul he'll take.
I am his child, His loved sweet child.
Loved with love that does not break.

Though I've failed, have not prevailed.
In the eyes of judge or kin.
I'll be caught up in skies of light.
For Jesus died and rose again.

Our sins, our failures washed away.
In his love, He freely gave.
For sinners such as you and I;
He died to rescue, died to save.

If I should die before I wake;
Upon the wings of grace I'll be.
In joy, in song rejoicing.
With my Saviour who loves me.

If I should die remember this;
I'll send my love, a gentle kiss.
I will await to hold you near.
With Jesus, I will meet you there.
With Jesus, I will meet you there.

If I should die before I wake;
Upon the wings of grace I'll be.
In joy, in song rejoicing.
With my Saviour who loves me.

 Revelations 21:4
 God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
