The Lord Hath Spoken

The sun is shining, like satin lining;

 Across the wet branches of the trees.

The birds have been singing songs all day long.

Spring has come forth - flourishing with glee.

God has given us joy and life in Him;

Just as a new  spring morning  happens.

Just as a new beginning gives hope;

Jesus revives willing hearts again.

The chill of winter has passed at last;

We see the light through the open clouds.

Nature has sprung up with encouragement;

A reminder which speaks of God so loud.

His goodness and His love in creation;

His salvation, His forgiveness.

His joy, His light, the life He's given us.

Redemption from wintry bitterness.

Oh  joy, the Lord hath spoken through nature;

In ev'ry  flower that arises.

In ev'ry tree that brings forth new blossoms.

Each springtime brings us new surprises.

As we feel the presence of our God's love;

Oh Let us praise Him, Let us praise Him.

Let us recognize Him, give Him glory;

For springtime is a blessing from Him.

For Easter

For Easter

 I'd like to give you special things at Easter; 

Not colored eggs or bunnies, if you please. 

I'd like to give you brand new hope and sunshine, 

And even deeper faith to bend your knees.

I'd like to catch your hand in dewy sunrise, 

Run that mile and view that empty tomb; 

Maybe, sing the alleluia chorus ~ 

Weep for joy and dance away the gloom.

Could we just sit silent, watching all the traffic 

Coming in, to find the grave clothes there; 

Like an empty shell, cocoon all dry and vacant, 

While the Spirit soars magnificently through air?

We would sure rejoice that our precious Lord had risen. 

But, we'd have to go ~ to shout it to the world 

And we couldn't wait so long; the fire within us 

Would consume us if we didn't share this pearl.

So, may I paint word pictures of Him risen? 

Imagine all the tears of joy we'd share 

And recall, to you, the greatest of all victories 

Is in this early morning's dewy air.

Easter Is.....

Easter Is...

More than just bunnies and Easter eggs;

More than the flowers of spring.

More than our gathering families;

More than the cheer that it brings.

Jesus arose victorious;

Over sin, hell and the grave.

He opened the door of life to all;

And longs for all to be saved.

Tulips and daffodils stand bright;

The birds build nests while they sing.

Children laughing with lighted smiles;

All these, are gifts from our King.

But Easter is a new beginning;

New hope for a hungry soul.

It stands for something amazing;

A broken life can be made whole.

What Has Become Broken About America?

What Has Become Broken About America?

 I believe God’s blessing will remain upon a nation as long as we as a nation, follow the principles of biblical truth.  God does not bless us based upon how beautiful we are, how tall we are, how white we are, or how black we are.  God’s love is no greater towards a people, based upon color.  God, however, does have a chosen people, the children of Israel.  The children of Israel are not white and they are not black.  God does not make judgments about us by looking at our outward appearance.  Scripture says God looks rather at the inward heart.  The inward heart I’m talking about is the very essence of who we are.  God looks at our country and the heart behind what motivates it.  When our country stops looking for wisdom and direction from the Word.  That is called, turning your back on God and going your own way.

God is still not pleased with scripture being used as a way to promote what God’s already said not to do.  Our country has made some wrong turns, our nation is no longer following what God will bless. Then we know that our country has become broken to the protecting hand of God.   If you truly believe there is a God then there will be a fear of God.  God could very well bring judgment to America just as He has in biblical history, with many nations including Israel.  When Israel decided to live outside of the protecting hand of God, many of Israel’s people and children were taken into captivity. Many times after a while, Isreal starting crying out to God realizing their sin. Then God would see their repentance and show them mercy.

If we truly want our country blessed, we will continue to bless Israel.   If we want God to answer the prayers of our country, we will protect the innocent and the shedding of innocent blood.  If we fear God, we will seek his will through prayer and not answer to anyone else until we have acknowledged God. 

If Christians start being persecuted by our government, for standing first for what God wants.  Then we know our country is broken.  Our country has known great blessings from God.  We have no excuse as a nation.  God has showered us with many blessings for hundreds of years.  It is when we lose the blessings we do have; we will understand what blessings we have lost.  Some young people do not recognize what blessings have already been lost.  They only know the now they are living.

A Love Note From God and Audio

This is a personal letter to you whoever you are. If you are reading it, it is for you. The Bible teaches us all the things that are in this note. They are just written into this song. The Bible says, that God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son. God deals with each one of us personally, When you know him as your Savior it is a personal relationship. That is why I used the word you. That personal relationship with God really begins when you believe in, his love for you. Can you believe in his forgiveness for you? When you believe that what he did at the cross was for you and that He arose from the dead, He will make you alive in Him. He conquered death, he conquered the curse of our sin. He definitely loves us so. SYN

Each Step Prayer

May each step lead us closer to you dear Lord.

May our steps be your steps we pray.

That our steps may be blessings of hope and light.

Leading those searching In the Way.

Keep our eyes forward in right paths of truth.

Let not our feet wander astray.

That we may inherit blessings from you.

In the light of your grace always.
